A story: Reginald G Leeder was the son of Charles & Alice Smith from Richmond NSW, Australia. He was the eldest of 11 children though 2 of his younger sisters died in infancy. He became a tram conductor in June 1911 before marrying Irene Gibson in 1912. They did not have any children. Reginald served for 3 ½ years and was promoted while at Gallipoli. Later on he had a bit of a checked military career but in the end it was recommended that all his medals be issued.
