Hallam Tennyson Earl
Hallam was my great uncle (my grand father, Wilton Hartington Earl and another brother, Harold Newton Earl, are also in these records). Just a quick comment - the Mrs E Earl who enquired about Hallam was not his mother, but his sister-in-law (married to the oldest brother and his NOK, Joseph). Thanks for these records - it has filled in some previously unknown information about their war service.

Thanks for your comment - the packet records Mrs Earl as Hallam's mother, so it must have been an erroneous assumption on the part of the bureau. We’re working on adding a new note field to the records in which we can add new information such as this, but for now it is recorded here in your comment. Glad the records have been of interest!
