Francis Patrick Boyce was my Great Uncle, one of four brothers to serve in WW1. George Henry Boyce 22 Btn died of wounds buried Doullens France. Thomas Boyce 23rd Btn Killed in action Broddsiende ridge, buried Tynecot Belgium. Edward Boyce 5th Division Sigs, returned to Australia. Francis Patrick Boyce was awarded his Military Medal for his actions in the battle of Polygon Wood for maintaining buzzer and wireless operations under heavy barrage.
