Harry Leslie Garwood Cole, was born at Kapunda, South Australia, on 17 December 1890. He enlisted at Keswick, South Australia, on 31 May 1915 and served with the 12 Battalion at Mudros, France and England, being promoted to Sergeant on 5 January 1917 and appointed company quartermaster sergeant on 5 March 1917. He returned to Australia in 1919 and died in Perth, Western Australia, in 1967.
