No. 106 Private Lancelot McDermott Crowe MM, born Meningie, South Australia. Enlisted 9th Light Horse Regiment 19 September 1914, served Gallipoli, transferred to Imperial Camel Corps 1 September 1916, awarded Military Medal 23 November 1917, transferred to 15th Light Horse Regiment 1 July 1918. Died result of motor cycle accident 15 September 1929, buried A.I.F. Cemetery, West Terrace, Adelaide.
