Arthur Foden

Private Arthur Foden was born at Macclesfield, England, in 1892. He enlisted at Oaklands, South Australia, on 31 December 1914 and served with the 16th Infantry Battalion. He was wounded in action (shell shock) in France on 10 August 1916 and again on 29 August 1916. He died of uremic convulsions on 31 March 1918 and is buried in Gezaincourt Communal Cemetery Extension.
