Stories

7 of 10 of my brothers and sisters are all meeting in Amiens/Ypres later this month for a Battlefields Tour. My sister in law has given each of us the names of two soldiers to research and share with the group.
I am wondering if you might have any further information that might be of interest or are you able to provide at name or alternatively provide my email address to a family member. I would love them to know we Aussies will say a prayer over his grave in Queant Road. Any information is appreciated.
Lest we forget.
Bernadette.

Dear Bernadette,
There is plenty of information about Arthur Oliver Emmins and his service at the websites linked from the ‘From other sources’ section of this record, see above.
Tracing descendants of soldiers can involve quite time consuming research, so unless another relative has made a comment on the soldier’s record, the State Library does not have details of family members.
I hope you have a wonderful trip.
Kind regards, Joanna
