Private Frank William Lloyd, born at Mundalla, South Australia, on 19 July 1896 was the 8th child of William Lloyd and Sarah Beauchamp. At the time of his enlistment on 15 July 1915 he was a farmer. A member of the 27th Battalion, Frank served at Gallipoli and in France where he was killed in action on 4 August 1916.
