Percy Bennett Jacobs, was born at Magill, South Australia, on 10 May 1882. He married Hedwig Alice Lange on 27 November 1907. He enlisted at Keswick, South Australia, on 12 July 1915, and was posted to the 32nd Battalion. He was wounded in action in France on 19 July 1916 and returned to Australia in 1917. He died at Prospect, South Australia, on 3 April 1945.
