etter to Wallie (W.H. Allison) from Jeanne Muselet, aged seven, of Hesdin L'Abbe, France, near Calais, written in French on the reverse of a postcard dated 22 May 1918. Translated it reads 'Dear Wallie, Forgive me for not having replied sooner I was pleased to receive your small card I lost your address I am glad to know that you remain well At home all the family are well I send you my best wishes A small card will please me so much Your friend Jeanne [Joan] Muselet'.
