Mary 'Mildred' Morcom (1897 - 1954) who married Thomas Leo Ford, 24 Dec.1929 at St. Luke's Church, Adelaide, S.A.
Sister to Harold Leslie Morcom, Australian Flying Corps cadet, (later Lieutenant) who was badly injured in a firey crash of his aircraft. He was rescued from the wreckage of the burning aircraft by A.F.C. groundcrew members in 9546 Cpl. Matthew James Horne and 1st Class Air Mechanic Edward Lewis Spike, both later awarded the Meritorius Service Medal for their bravery.
