Frederick Leonard Zschorn

(He was my grandfather's cousin and I have been doing some family history research.)
Frederick Leonard Zschorn
Frederick Leonard Zschorn was my grandfather. He was the grandson of an early South Australian colonists, Johann Gottlieb Zschorn (arrived 1849). He was originally a bootmaker, as was his father and grandfather. My grandfather loved the army, and fought overseas in WW1. He even contributed to the war effort of WW11 in a non combative role. He marched with pride every Anzac Day until he was unable to do so - a day he always looked forward to. Every year that I can remember, he collected for the Red Shield Appeal. From a personal perspective, he loved his races, his chickens and gardening and loved to walk every day.
